What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior Brand Copywriter to join our team. As an expert storyteller, you’ll bring our products to life across various channels, from web content to ads and campaigns. You’ll ensure consistency in brand voice while collaborating with cross-functional teams like Paid Marketing, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation to craft engaging, strategic content. You will excel in both big-picture thinking and attention to detail, managing multiple projects and tight timelines. With a passion for elevating copy and a keen understanding of branding, you’ll drive impactful messaging that resonates with our audience.

What you’ll be working on

  • Collaborate with Brand Creative and marketing teams to create dynamic content for campaigns, product launches, and web experiences.
  • Work with leadership to develop brand campaigns across various platforms, including web, video, email, social media, and events.
  • Ensure all copy aligns with brand voice and guidelines while contributing to their evolution.
  • Partner with Web and Product Design to enhance user experiences with thoughtful micro-copy and user interactions.
  • Lead projects from concept to launch, maintaining ownership and quality across all stages.
  • Transform strategic marketing messages into compelling ad copy and provide constructive feedback on other teams’ work.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • A strong portfolio showcasing brand-driven storytelling and excellent copywriting across various formats and channels.
  • 5+ years of experience in creative roles, including web, digital advertising, and brand campaigns.
  • A solid understanding of SEO, digital marketing trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $112,200 / year - $132,000 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits. 

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
