Team And Role Overview
Adenza is looking for a RegulatoryRisk Calculation and Reporting Specialized Business Analyst to join our Risk Solutions team in developing market-leading software for Tier 1 banking clients and smaller institutions alike. In this role, you should leverage experience in Basel 3 and 4 Capital Adequacy, Pillar 1 and 3 reporting to create robust specifications and be able to answer queries from internal and external stakeholders on this subject. The successful candidate will become part of a team delivering best-in-class solutions to financial institutions across the Asia Pacific region. The role requires keen attention to detail and ownership of delivering specifications based on regulatory and operational requirements that meet the needs of our external clients.
Responsibilities
- Work with our Risk Solution teams’ Lead Business Analysts to define product features and functional requirements – interpreting local risk regulations
- Articulating above mentioned regulations and necessary business processes into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Write and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) that breakdown requirements into clear and cohesive business logic and designs(logic, of cubes, dashboards, and other user interactions) which can serve as the business for software development
- Interrogate and challenge business existing operational paradigms and business use cases to look for optimizations and improvements, incorporating these into the requirements and specifications you produce
- Collaborate with the Application Development team to ensure the functional goals of our software are always captured and business user experience is considered
- Provide guidance on the creation of test scenarios to the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the full suite of functional as well as non-functional use cases are validated
- Monitor regulatory updates and assess the impact and necessary updates to Adenza solutions
- Monitor regulatory updates and industry trends to keep Adenza solutions at the forefront of the data management, risk management, and regulatory reporting industries
- Participate as SME support in sales and pre-sales, as well as providing SME input into marketing initiatives, driving the creation of publications, blogs, content for webinars, and more
- Strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience with Basel 3 and 4 rules (mainly Credit and Market Risk) in APAC jurisdiction, especially for MAS, HKMA, JFSA, and APRA
- A very good understanding of key banking products -derivatives, SFT, securities and loans,, guarantees, collateral
- Experience working as a business analyst in the banking industry or related vendor in a Regulatory/Compliance role/team
- Collaboration and communication aptitude necessary to share complex ideas succinctly and accurately both in written and verbal forms
- A self-motivated attitude that allows the candidate to map out their own optimal path to achieve the goals articulated above whilst managing deadlines
- Team player approach that leverages the knowledge and skills of others and works with those in the wider team and company to ensure we are greater than the sum of our parts
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors desirable: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Science, Mathematics, or other aligned business and technology aligned subject matters
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, and MS Excel
Our Office:
Adenza Pune is located on the 8th floor of Baner One Tower, situated on Pan Card Club Road. Good locality with connectivity to Balewadi Highstreet, Pashan Hill, Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Hospitals, Schools, and shopping malls. One can reach these places within a 10–15-minute drive from our office. Our office currently accommodates 120 employees with 5 conference rooms. Our cafeteria is well stocked with plenty of coffee, a vending machine, games, a projector and a TV.
