Apple is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join the Apple Pay Access team. This critical role will focus on expanding the reach and functionality of Apple Pay within the access control industry and related ecosystems. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with key players in the access control space, driving adoption of Apple Pay as a seamless and secure access solution. This role demands a strategic problem solver with a proven track record of building successful partnerships, a deep understanding of the access control market, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, innovative environment.Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with access control manufacturers, software providers, integrators, and other key players in the access control ecosystem to integrate and promote Apple Pay Access solutions. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct detailed market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and new business opportunities for Apple Pay within the access control industry. Solution Development and Innovation: Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and marketing teams to develop and refine Apple Pay Access solutions that meet the specific needs of the access control market and drive innovation in the space. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new Apple Pay Access solutions, working closely with partners to ensure successful launch and adoption. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key partners, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for Apple Pay Access. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Measure key performance indicators related to partnership performance, adoption rates, and user growth. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, legal, and business operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives. Pipeline Management: Implement and use tools to provide pipeline access to demonstrate progress and facilitate decision making at all levels of the organization. Industry Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the access control industry landscape, including key players, technologies, and trends.
