Forescout is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities across multiple functional areas including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and others. This strategic and operational role focuses on vendor negotiations, contract execution, and cross-departmental collaboration to drive cost efficiency and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience in a high-tech or SaaS environment and a proactive, data-driven approach to supplier and stakeholder management. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end purchasing, overseeing vendor onboarding, coordinating contract redlines, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining procurement performance reports. The role requires supporting internal audits and regulatory compliance, with minimal travel.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or computer science.
Minimum 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
Proven expertise in supplier negotiations and contract management.
Strong technical understanding of R&D and IT procurement needs.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to have:

Experience in a high-tech/software/SAAS environment.
Experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities across multiple functional areas at Forescout. This role is both strategic and operational, focused on vendor negotiations, contract execution, and cross-departmental collaboration to drive cost efficiency and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience within a high-tech or SaaS environment and bring a proactive, data-driven approach to supplier and stakeholder management. This position reports directly to the Manager, Global Procurement.

Key Strategic Responsibilities

Lead procurement strategy and execution across various business units including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and others.
Drive supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and value-added services.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify cost savings opportunities and streamline procurement processes.
Support development of sourcing strategies and long-term planning initiatives.
Act as a liaison between procurement, legal, finance, and internal teams to ensure process alignment and compliance.

Operational Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchasing activities from requisition to PO creation.
Oversee vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with Forescout’s risk assessment protocols.
Coordinate contract redlines with Legal and ensure policy alignment.
Ensure accuracy in procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
Resolve invoice discrepancies in partnership with Accounts Payable.
Maintain dashboards and reports to track spend, savings, and procurement performance.
Support internal audits and regulatory compliance including SOX and ISO.

What You Will Bring To Forescout

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in a high-tech/software/SAAS environment.
Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic planning.
Strong technical understanding of R&D and IT procurement needs, enabling effective supplier evaluation and cost optimization.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud) is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to leverage data and analytics in decision-making processes

Travel

Minimal travel may be required for this position

Hours/Shift

This role requires the individual to work a normal shift through 2 PM Central Time (EMEA shift in India) to support relevant internal stakeholders and suppliers.
