At Omeda Studios, we are a remote-first game development company passionately working on our debut title, Predecessor - our Action MOBA for PC and Consoles that is currently in Early Access. We are looking for skilled professionals eager to contribute their talents in creating and delivering engaging content for a game designed to entertain players for years. And here's where you come in! We need an experienced Character Artist that helps us create high-quality Characters and Skins that engage and connect to the players.

In This Role You Will

  • Collaborate closely with concept, rigging, animation, and game design teams to ensure Character Art meets game design and technical requirements
  • Create realistic high-quality real-time characters
  • Create clean game topology, UV's, and textures
  • Implement and set up characters in Unreal Engine 5

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience working as a Character Artist
  • Experience working on at least one realistic-style AAA title
  • Proven ability across all aspects of character modelling, including anatomical, cloth, and hard-surface modelling
  • Extensive knowledge of 3D packages, preferably Maya
  • Advanced sculpting skills using ZBrush
  • Experience in texturing with Substance Painter
  • Knowledge of PBR texture/material workflows
  • Experience with Marvelous Designer and clothing creation
  • Understanding of Rigging and Skinning
  • Real-time hair creation

Nice to Have

  • Experience in working with outsourcing and providing feedback
  • Experience in working with scan data
  • Knowledge of FACS based facial blendshape creation
  • Knowledge of real-time UE5 shaders
  • Knowledge of scanning pipeline
  • Passionate about MOBAs
