Business Restructuring Services (BRS) supports clients in the financial, strategic and operational analysis of the situation, followed by solutions, implementation and roll-out of a strategy that will lead to one of the following outcomes:
Divestiture/sale
Financial restructuring/funding
Liquidation.
In every step of the process, the BRS Practice uses and integrates financial and operational know-how and expertise from other PwC practices (such as strategy consulting, valuation, business modelling, transactions, tax, supply chain, legal and so on). This integrated way of thinking and doing is what makes PwC’s market proposition unique compared to competitors.

Your impact
You will work on assignments that involve various financial advisory roles and corporate finance products and industries, including creditor and debtor side restructuring, operational restructuring, debt advisory assignments and distressed mergers & acquisitions.
You are part of the Business Restructuring Services department, which is part of PwC's Deals practice. Your team (BRS) provides restructuring advice when it concerns corporate restructuring in either a crisis or non-crisis situation.
You analyse the situation and the short-term liquidity and subsequently list the potential restructuring options for your client.
You play an important role in implementing the restructuring scheme. Furthermore, you are able to review or assist in the development of a medium-term business and cash-flow plan.
You are part of or manage a team (depending on your level of experience) and report on the day-to-day developments to the senior team members of the assignment.
You guide and coach your team members and are the person with whom they can exchange thoughts, ideas and suggestions for their work.
You are responsible for the timely execution of assignments to a high standard.
You contribute to the further expansion of our restructuring assignment portfolio. It focuses on companies and organisations in financial difficulties and deploys all the competences within PwC that are needed to make a success of the restructuring assignment, such as due-diligence specialists, tax experts and corporate-finance advisers.
About you
You have an economics degree or/and a law degree, or an academic degree in exact sciences, business administration, business economics, econometrics or a technical field
You have 3 to 7 years’ relevant working experience, either in an international audit practice or in a financial institution, a corporate-finance or business-development department within a bank or a corporation, or you have experience in the 'intensive care/restructuring' department of a bank.
You have excellent communication skills and you have the ability to be a great team player.
You have strong advisory skills and know how to inspire and retain clients.
You show flexibility to work on cross-border assignments
You have a strong knowledge of Dutch or French and English
