Beghou Consulting, a trusted advisor to life science firms for over 30 years, seeks a Sr. Consultant, Data Aggregation. This role leads client projects in the conception, execution, and delivery of Data Aggregation systems, focusing on specialty pharmacy, hub, and specialty distributor data. Responsibilities include developing data management and reporting suites, coordinating with data vendors, synthesizing findings, and communicating results to clients. The consultant will also contribute to product development, build data processes, and manage project finances. This position requires strong project and people management skills, advanced analytical abilities, and excellent communication. The role involves fostering an innovative environment and mentoring junior team members, while also growing client engagements.
Must have:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree with 4-6 years professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, advanced Excel).
- Proven experience in US pharmaceutical market data management.
- Proficiency in HIPAA-compliant data management.
- Strong project and people management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Good to have:
- Coding skills (SAS, Python, R, VBA).
- Knowledge of data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with specialty distributor EDI data.
- Experience with other commercial life sciences datasets.
- Knowledge of data management best practices in pharma.

This position leads client projects in the conception, execution, and delivery of Data Aggregation systems life science firms. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in managing client interactions regarding existing and future Data Aggregation projects and identifies areas for future growth.
We'll Trust You To:
- Oversees and develops Data Aggregation (specialty pharmacy, hub, specialty distributor, 3PL) projects and capabilities; consistently delivers quality client services and drives projects within expected timeframes and on budget.
- Develops data management and reporting suites across patient and channel data.
- Works with project leadership to define project scope and development approach for each project, including conducting issue analysis and hypothesis development.
- Coordinates with data vendors to establish data exchanges and to resolve data quality issues.
- Synthesizes findings, develops recommendations, and communicates results to clients and internal teams.
- Contributes to product development initiatives.
- Works independently or with a team to build out data processes.
- Coordinates with diverse teams, including those globally.
- Frequently utilizes coding to facilitate data processing and reporting.
- Provides project leadership for team members regarding process improvements, planned approaches for client requests, or transition of new deliverables.
- Monitors progress, manages risk and ensures key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes; manages project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafts SOWs for new work, and manages client invoices.
- Assists in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching; contributes to internal initiatives as needed.
- Fosters an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
- Coaches and mentors junior team members on their professional development and serves as their Professional Development Manager.
- Grows external client engagements, owning aspects of the relationship between the client and the firm.

You will need to have:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 4 to 6 years’ professional experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint and Word; advanced Excel skills required.
- Coding skills (SAS, Python, R, VBA, etc.) and knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI, preferred.
- Proven experience implementing or supporting patient and/or payer data management solutions in the US pharmaceutical market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant data management.
- Experience working with specialty distributor EDI (852, 867) data preferred.
- Experience with other commercial life sciences datasets (CRM, payer reference, claims, etc.) preferred.
- Strong project management and people management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of data management best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
$110,000 - $150,000 a year
