Hogarth, part of WPP, is seeking a Senior Copywriter in Shanghai, China. This role involves accurately interpreting briefs, developing surprising creative ideas and copy, and possessing strong visual ideation skills. The ideal candidate will have strategic thinking, be able to lead smaller projects independently, and present to clients. They should also have the ambition to control creativity, contributing to engaging and measurable content across various channels.
Must have:

Responsibilities:

  • You need to accurately interpret briefs, quickly grasp client expectations, identify the brand's tone, and produce surprising creative ideas and copy content.
  • You must not only be able to handle all styles of copywriting but also have visual ideation ability, providing visual ideas based on creative direction.
  • You need to possess certain strategic thinking ability, because clarifying "what to write" is more important than "how to write".
  • You need to be able to independently lead smaller projects and present to clients.
  • Finally, we hope you have the ambition to control creativity.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of creative copywriting experience in an advertising agency, with accumulated writing skills and the ability to grasp different copywriting styles.
  • Strong curiosity, good at discovery, insight, and clear viewpoints.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint application and beautification, with a sense of teamwork.
  • Clear logical thinking, meticulous in work, and strong expression skills.
  • Possess certain ability to withstand pressure and a mature work attitude.
