As a Senior Data Analyst, you will collaborate with product and design teams to define data collection, implement best practices, and provide actionable insights for live operations. Responsibilities include designing events to measure player behavior, ensuring data quality, translating raw data into actionable insights, building dashboards, presenting findings, shaping live operations strategies, defining KPIs, improving data governance, and advocating for data-driven decision-making. The role requires expertise in analytics, SQL/NoSQL databases, data visualization, and strong communication skills. You will work on optimizing games for their target market and contribute to the long-term success of their projects.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work hand-in-hand with our product and design team to define the right data to collect, establishbest practices for its implementation, and ensure that our live operations are informed by actionable insights. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our product direction and optimizing our games for our targeted market.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the product and design team to understand feature goals, user journeys, and data requirements;
- Design and specifyevents to measureplayerbehavior and product performance.
- Work closelywith tech and data engineering teams to ensure data quality and consistencyfromimplementation to ingestion;
- Translate raw dataintoclear and actionable insights by querying and analyzing large datasets, performing ad-hoc analyses, and uncoveringopportunities for gameimprovement;
- Builddashboards and segment the player base to betterunderstand engagement and retention;
- Present and communicatefindings to various stakeholders and departments, fostering a data-drivenmindsetacross live operations;
- Shape live operationsstrategies by analyzing the performance of in-gameevents, specialoffers, economies, and experiments;
- Define key KPIs and metrics to ensure the viability and long-termsuccess of ourprojects;
- Implementprocesses and documentation to improve data governanceacrossgames;
- Educate and advocate for data-drivendecision-making, ensuringanalyticsplay a pivotal role in optimizinggamedevelopment and live operations.
What we’re looking for:
- Industry experience or equivalent, with proven interest in and knowledge of live service video games;
- Expertise in the field of analytics and ease to work with different statistical methods;
- Excellent knowledge of how to use databases, particularly complicated data processing of large data sets with SQL and NoSQL;
- Excellent data visualization skills;
- Autonomy and excellent organization skills;
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity.
