Job Description
RoofStream seeks a Senior Data Analyst to manage the entire data lifecycle, creating and maintaining the company's data catalog. Responsibilities include performing custom analytics for business teams, analyzing user/platform data for growth and optimization, and collaborating on dashboards and metrics. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in data analytics or BI, strong SQL skills, expertise with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Apache Superset), and experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The position is based in Istanbul.

We have strengthened our position in the global market by opening a new office in Austin, USA, which hosts world technology giants from all over the world.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join the RoofStream team.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the entire data lifecycle and be the go-to person for the company's data catalog.
- Perform custom and specific analytics to support business teams.
- Analyze user and platform data to uncover insights that support growth, retention, and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and develop actionable dashboards and metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics or BI Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Apache Superset, or similar.
- Strong SQL skills, experience with multiple database technologies (BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
- Knowledge of data analytics and data modeling concepts.
- Experience preparing data for analysis (ETL optional but a plus).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and think analytically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proactive, team-oriented, and quick learner.
- Python programming experience for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance (optional).
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies.
- Experience with media and OTT platforms (nice to have).
