Voodoo seeks a freelance Senior Data Analyst (Growth) to join their team embedded at BeReal, a social media platform with 40M+ monthly users. This 6-month contract (renewable) requires a 4-day/week presence in their Paris office. Responsibilities include building robust analytics solutions, collaborating with engineers and data experts, unlocking key insights, optimizing user experiences, driving data-driven decisions, and acting as a bridge between business and technical teams. The role involves developing dashboards, reports, leading A/B testing using Amplitude and BigQuery, and delivering key performance metrics to marketing, sales, and internal ad network teams.
Must have:
- Expert in Amplitude (especially experiments) and MixPanel
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools
- Experience creating company-wide reports
- Strong communication & autonomous work abilities
- Experience with consumer apps (B2C)
- Fluent in French & English

Embedded at BeReal, you’ll help scale an iconic platform with 40M+ monthly users by building robust analytics solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineers and data experts to unlock key insights, optimize user experiences, and drive data-driven decisions. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing BeReal’s data capabilities while leveraging Voodoo’s expertise.
This role is a 6 months' contract (renewable 3months)
It requires to be in the offices based in Châtelet (Paris) 4 days/week.
Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst deeply passionate about data-driven decisions, transforming raw data into clear actionable business insights, and constantly driving themselves and the team towards completing the next challenge. - Act as a key bridge between business and technical teams on all data-related initiatives, establishing efficient tracking and reporting frameworks while ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.
- Develop dynamic dashboards and insightful reports to drive company-wide understanding of key business metrics and foster data-driven decision-making.
- Experimentation & Analytics: Lead A/B testing strategies and conduct deep-dive analyses using Amplitude and BigQuery to provide critical insights that drive revenue growth and product enhancements.
- Key point of contact for the Growth Team: Deliver key performance metrics, accurate forecasts, and essential data insights to the marketing, sales, and ADN (internal ad network) teams, empowering them with the intelligence needed for strategic growth.
Profile
- You are an expert on Amplitude (especially. experiment) // MixPanel and can create dashboards that are shared company-wide, facilitating data-driven decision-making across departments.
- You are highly skilled in SQL and can handle large and complex data sets.
- You have practical experience with visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- You have solid experience producing company wide reports
- You have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and excellent communication skills
- You possess substantial experience in analytical roles, ideally with consumer apps (B2C)
- You are fluent in both French & English
