Job Summary
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our BI team. The team operates large-scale data pipelines integrating dozens of sources, collecting a rapidly expanding dataset on user game interactions. Using this data, we predict user value and create analytical reports for data-driven decision-making across other teams. Responsibilities include creating and optimizing data pipelines, participating in data infrastructure and architecture decisions. The ideal candidate possesses expert SQL knowledge, extensive data pipeline development experience, and a strong background in database management (MPP, RDBMS, columnar). Proficiency in Python, ETL tools (AirFlow preferred), and Linux shell/bash is essential. Russian and English language proficiency are required.

Job Details
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our BI team, which is responsible for operating large-scale data pipelines, based on integrations with dozens of sources, collecting a rapidly expanding list of data points on how users interact with our games. Using this vast data, we predict a user’s value and create analytical reports for other teams to help them make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
Create data pipelines and optimize the performance of existing ones, take part in making decisions on data infrastructure and architecture.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of SQL;
- Vast experience in the development of effective data pipelines;
- Experience in creating data architecture and managing complex data systems;
- Strong database (MPP, RDBMS, columnar) background;
- Good experience in Python programming;
- Experience with ETL tools (AirFlow preferred);
- Confident acquaintance with Linux shell/bash;
- Russian language proficiency;
- English language proficiency.
Optional requirements:
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse;
- Experience in the mobile game development industry and/or business intelligence area.
