Job Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deliver automated and ad-hoc financial reports such as settlement reports, merchant transaction reports, and revenue reconciliation reports with high accuracy and reliability.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to provide business and financial insights.
• Collaborate with finance, payment operations, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement data-driven reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex ETL processes and manage large datasets to support financial and business analytics.
• Partner with software engineers to document and maintain financial data models, ensuring alignment with internal data standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure data quality by performing rigorous validation, cleansing, and reconciliation of financial and transactional data.
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies across internal and external systems in reports related to settlements, payments, and merchants.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial data infrastructure, tools, and reporting processes.
• Maintain secure and compliant data access and delivery in accordance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Enhance the architecture and scalability of reporting pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, financial reporting, or analytics, including experience with ETL, data lakes, and data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and data modelling.
• Excellent SQL skills, including stored procedure development and performance optimization of complex queries.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and report generation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Kinesis, Lambda, Firehose, Redshift, S3, EC2, EMR, and DMS.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Passionate about data and solving business problems with data-driven approaches.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or digital payments industries.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure.
