As a Senior Designer - insights and data visualisation, you will be working with Data and Analytics and commercial teams to create compelling campaign insights and high-impact assets. You will be involved in campaign support, brand storytelling, and data visualization, creating designs for insight reports, infographics, and animations. The role involves managing multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring MiQ's insight templates are engaging and easy to interpret. This requires translating insights into visual narratives, maintaining brand consistency, and recommending the latest data visualization techniques. This role requires a focus on design, storytelling, and visual impact to drive results.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of design experience in insights and data visualization.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and performance-focused assets.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High proficiency in G-suite, PPT and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Strong sense of design/typography, color, and layout.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and their design nuances.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Thorough understanding of data analysis and visualisation techniques
Good to have:
  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or simple animation tools.
  • Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for landing page or email template tweaks.
  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, or tech marketing is a plus.

As a Senior Designer - insights and data visualisation, you will be dedicatedly working with Data and Analytics (DnA), and in market commercial teams. helping us build compelling campaign insights and high-impact assets that engage our clients and drive results. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and visual impact -. You’ll have the chance to:

  • Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing, DnA, and Trading teams to support integrated campaign insights with high-quality design assets.
  • Maintain and update the data visualization library and templates to ensure consistency and ease of use across teams.
  • Brand Storytelling: Translate our insight strategies into cohesive visual narratives that resonate with our audience while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Design data visualization: Create engaging digital design for data storytelling, with custom infographic and standard charting.
  • Partner closely with our Data & Analytics team to build design templates for client facing Insight Reports and revisit these at regular intervals to evolve them
  • Recommend latest data visualization ways to the team, educate them and enable them to bring these elements into the day to day requests
  • Enhance the design quality of Insights Reports, specifically for our high value clients, recommending design elements tailored to the request/client
  • Lead the design of insights developed by DnA team for the briefs received from commercial teams 
  • Create visually engaging formats such as infographics, motion graphics, or short animations Ex: gifs or video snippets to enhance storytelling in insights reports and enable broader engagement
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, from concepts to deliverables.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional set of stakeholders - DnA, Account Management, Product - to ensure MiQ’s insight templates are visually engaging, easy to interpret for a range of users, and bring to life the power of MiQ’s insights for clients.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • At least 4 years’ of design experience in Insights and data visualisation design, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative and performance-focused marketing assets.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects in a global operation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Good project management skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design, process, and your proficiency in delivering compelling creative product/ insight is a must.
  • Strong understanding of enhanced ways of data visualization 
  • Self-starter, able to collaborate with immediate teams and manage expectations.
  • A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive, enthusiasm and with a dream to grow alongside us.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Expert eye for creative that resonates with and engages digitally native consumers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Believes in continuous learning and sharing knowledge with peers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • High proficiency in G-suite, PPT and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Strong sense of design/typography, color, and layout.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and their design nuances (email, social, display, web, etc.).
  • Ability to balance creativity with speed and deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills. You’re comfortable working cross-functionally.
  • Thorough understanding of data analysis and visualisation techniques

GOOD TO HAVE:

  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or simple animation tools (Ex: After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for landing page or email template tweaks.
  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, or tech marketing is a plus.
