Senior Developer (.NET)

As a Senior Developer at Endava, you are responsible for implementing and delivering high-quality software products using Agile Scrum methodology. As a part of a global project, you can contribute your technical expertise and experience in order to the project succeed. 

Responsibilities:

• Designs, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
• Participates actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
• Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
• Recommends and promotes IT industry standards, tools, and practices (DevOps, etc.) to achieve well-engineered software products.
• Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.
• Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.
• Learns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
• Participates in internal and external tech communities, events, etc.
• Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.

Mandatory skills:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development for commercial projects using .NET, particularly with .NET Core for building web APIs and microservices. 

• Strong understanding of design principles and patterns (SOLID, Dependency Injection). 

• Proficient in relevant programming languages, frameworks and tools such as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, Visual Studio, Azure Fundamentals. 

• Practical experience in platform specific database systems and SQL. 

• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, KANBAN) 

• Good communication in English. 

Desired skills:

• Experience with developing dynamic, responsive web applications using Angular or React is a plus 

• Sociable, proactive, team player & fast learner 

• Ability to coach others.
