Description

As a senior cloud cost optimization engineer, you will increase visibility to cloud spending by developing a data-driven approach to alerting, reporting and optimization of cloud costs. Engineers must proactively collaborate with business teams to ensure efficient and effective cloud cost utilization.

Responsibilities:

Create awareness and impact change in cloud infrastructure costs.

Implement dashboards and automated reporting cost and cost compliance.

Partner with LZ teams to ensure cost improvements are working.

Identify and raise technical, business and operational risks and opportunities.

Demonstrate critical thinking and growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems.

Enable team members through training and documentation.

Requirement:

Total experience should be 4 to 8.

Minimum 4 years of overall experience with Cloud Services (GCP)

Understanding of cloud infrastructure, cost reporting and cost optimization in any Cloud, GCP would be preferred.

Good understanding of the Landing Zone.

Experience with GCP cloud billing reports, CloudHealth such tools.

Good understanding with networking concepts (VPC, gateways, DNS, TCP/IP)

Good Written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively.

Strong Experience with Terraform, GitHub and Jenkins.

Enable team members through training and documentation. Guide team members in terms of technical challenges.
