What you will do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for daily technical operations including application management and support for all Nasdaq provided services. This includes 24/7 technical operations and application support, managing incidents for both internal and external customers, installing application updates and maintaining operational documentation and procedures. Furthermore, you will:

• Design, plan, and deploy changes to our existing systems for operational excellence, as well as implementing new solutions to enhance how we test, deploy, maintain, operate.
• Maintain operational documentation needed for second line operation.
• Lead projects and independently carry out our parts of large implementation projects.
• Be part of all activities regarding our applications, such as the handling of incoming issues, incident solving, requirements and launching of new releases, enhancing the processes and automation.

What We Expect

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
• At least 7+ years of experience from working with AWS and Cloud, DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or other related areas
• Excellent knowledge and experience in AWS services and architecture (AWS certificates would be a plus)
• Proven expertise in Linux/Unix
• Strong experience with Terraform
• Proven experience with Kubernetes (EKS/EKS-A)
• Extensive knowledge to design and create CI/CD pipelines, extensive experience in Git/GitLab
• Proven knowledge in scripting and automation
• Strong communication skills and ability to document technical solutions
• The ability to learn Nasdaq own systems combined with a great work ethic
• Amenable to working APAC shift throughout the work week and at least twice a week in the Nasdaq office at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
