Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team developing trading software for a top-tier hedge fund. You will be responsible for building and supporting automation tools, troubleshooting outages, standardizing workflows across QA, UAT, and PROD environments, and working closely with traders, portfolio managers, developers, and QA engineers. The role requires strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Jenkins, and Unix shell scripting. You should be comfortable working under pressure and have a passion for process re-engineering and automation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker is a plus.
Must Have
- 3-5 years Python automation (Jenkins)
- 5+ years Unix shell scripting
- 2+ years SRE/DevOps (production systems)
- AWS & Kubernetes experience

We've been developing trading software for our partner - a top-tier hedge fund - for over 10 years.
One of the teams develops deployment pipelines. With evolving tech stack we are looking for a new DevOps engineer join it.
You will work with traders and portfolio managers, developers, QA engineers, and other fellow DevOps.
Responsibilities
Build automation tools and support them
Troubleshoot inquiries and outages
should be able to work under pressure.
Standardize workflows and keep QA, UAT, and PROD in sync.
Skills
Must have
3-5 years of python development in automation using Jenkins
5+ years of Unix shell scripting experience
2+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps engineer responsible for deployment and maintenance of production systems
Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS) and Kubernetes
An appetite for process re-engineering and automation
Good communication skills
Nice to have
AWS specific experience in EC2, Lambda, RDS and SageMaker
Building pipelines in Jenkins using Groovy
Docker Containers, Ansible
Experience with systems and IT support on setting up CI/CD pipelines
Experience with trading applications, financial instruments, trade lifecycle
