This position involves developing and publishing optimized content, conducting in-depth reporting for the Nutrition Business Journal, collaborating on premium content and subscription strategies, and analyzing performance metrics to drive growth. The role requires tracking and reporting on digital content and social media performance, managing premium content workflows, and staying updated on digital trends to identify new content opportunities.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or digital media, or equivalent experience.
  • At least seven years of experience in publishing, preferably in B2B media or the natural products industry.
  • Strong editing and writing skills.
  • Experience creating SEO-driven content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze industry data and develop high-value content.
  • Content strategy expertise.
  • Knowledge of SEO and other digital engagement best practices.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Content Editor to help shape smart, engaging, and data-driven content for New Hope Network (newhope.com) and Nutrition Business Journal. If you're someone who’s passionate about the natural products space - think CPG brands, retailers, and investors - you’ll feel right at home here. This role is a big part of our digital evolution, where your voice and strategy will help keep us the go-to source for industry insights. You’ll work across teams to create content that’s not just high quality, but also optimized to reach the right people - and support the growth of our premium content business along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and publish optimized, high-value content for newhope.com, aligning with audience needs and organizational goals.  
  • Conceive, report and write monthly longform articles for NBJ.
  • Conduct in-depth reporting and write key NBJ reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and execute on new premium content and subscription strategies.
  • Analyze subscription and performance metrics to inform premium content strategies
  • Track and report performance of digital content and social media, providing insights to improve strategies.
  • Work with NBJ managing editor to manage premium content workflows, including overseeing freelance contributors, deadlines, user-paid platforms and quality standards.
  • Monitor digital trends and audience behavior to identify new premium content opportunities.

 

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or digital media, or equivalent experience.
    • At least seven years of experience in publishing, preferably in B2B media or the natural products industry.
    • Strong editing and writing skills, with experience creating SEO-driven content.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Additional Information

    The salary range for this role is 75,000 — 80,000 USD, depending on experience.
