C3 AI is seeking a Senior Director, Strategic Solutions to focus on the Federal Health Sectors, specifically HHS, VA, and DHA. This quota-based sales role involves driving customer adoption of Enterprise AI software by working with C-level federal customers and partners. The position requires developing high-value AI use cases and roadmaps to help clients achieve their digital transformation objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a track record of achievement, and experience selling new technologies to Federal Civilian agencies. Responsibilities include prospecting, closing opportunities, maintaining a pipeline, consulting with agencies on digital transformation, building strategic customer relationships, developing sales plans, collaborating with internal teams, driving business development with partners, and engaging in strategic account selling. Travel to customer sites is expected.
Must have:
  • Degree in engineering, science, or computer science
  • Sales experience with Federal Health Agencies (HHS, VA, DHA)
  • Proven success selling SaaS to federal civilian government
  • Experience establishing new customers and bringing new tech to Fed Health
  • Knowledge of federal government procurement process
  • Deep knowledge of AI and data analytics in government
  • Experience building relationships with senior federal decision-makers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

C3 AI is hiring a Senior Director, Strategic Solutions for our Federal Civilian Government Sector focusing on the Federal Health Sectors to include HHS, VA, and DHA. This is a quota-based sales opportunity to drive customer adoption with a rapidly growing leader in Enterprise AI software. You will work with C-level federal customers, and partner companies to develop high-value AI use cases and AI application roadmaps. You will help customers achieve their digital transformation objectives through identifying high-value opportunities.

Candidates should be able to understand complex issues at the intersection of business and technology and communicate that complexity with simplicity. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, highly collaborative environment and demonstrate an ability to execute precisely and quickly. Candidates should possess technical fluency in AI, machine learning, operations research, physics, math, engineering, data integration, or computer science.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish new customer relationships through prospecting and closing opportunities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to support business unit goals.
  • Consult with federal civilian government agencies to help them understand, structure, and implement their digital transformation strategies.
  • Engage in strategic relationships with senior level customers to assure the realization of their digital transformation goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the implementation of strategic customer engagement plans.
  • Establish a strategic sales plan by researching and identifying customer prospects and targets.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, products, and marketing teams to develop new product offerings within existing and new lines of business.
  • Represent C3 AI by driving business development with company alliance partners.
  • Personally engage in strategic account selling, business development, and ongoing customer success.
  • Travel to customer sites up to 30% of the time (or more) depending on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, science, computer science, or related technical field of study. Master’s or MBA degree preferred.
  • Deep understanding and sales experience with the Federal Health Agencies: HHS, VA, & DHA.
  • Proven track record of success in sales with a focus on selling SaaS solutions to the federal civilian government sector.
  • Proven track record of establishing new customers and bringing new technologies to the Federal Health agencies: HHS, VA, & DHA.
  • Strong understanding of the federal government procurement process and contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, GWACs, IDIQs).
  • Deep knowledge of AI technology, data analytics, and its applications within the government sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior-level decision-makers in federal agencies. 
  • Experience with and understanding of AI and Machine Learning is highly favorable. 
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Sales consulting or management consulting experience preferred.
