Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• End-to-End Hardware Development: Take ownership of the entire hardware development process—from requirements capture, system architecture, schematic design, and layout to board bring-up and production release.
• Circuit Design & Simulation: Design and validate analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits including switching regulators, power management, and 3-phase motor controllers.
• PCB Design in Altium: Create optimized and production-ready PCB layouts using Altium Designer that meet both functional and manufacturability requirements.
• Consumer Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver market-ready products that align with customer needs and design goals.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Independently identify and resolve hardware issues during development, testing, and post-launch phases.
• EMC/EMI Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to electromagnetic compatibility standards by applying best design practices to minimize interference.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and high system performance.
• Mentorship: Guide and support junior hardware engineers, fostering continuous learning and skill development across the team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in embedded hardware development, ideally in the consumer product industry.
• Deep understanding of ARM microcontrollers, analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit design, and power electronics.
• Proficient in Altium Designer and familiar with simulation and testing tools (e.g., LTSpice, Simulink).
• Expirienced with embedded software implementation (e.g., C/C++ for microcontrollers).
• Proven experience with EMC/EMI-compliant design and relevant regulatory standards.
• Hands-on experience in board bring-up, debugging, and production-oriented design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an independent, structured working style.
• Willingness to take responsibility and drive technical decision-making in a collaborative environment.
