Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and driven New College Graduate (NCG) to join our Product Regulatory Engineering team as a Senior Engineer focusing on Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). In this role, you will contribute to our company’s global Product Regulatory & Sustainability initiatives by supporting product development teams, evaluating environmental impacts, and ensuring compliance with international product-related environmental regulations including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, PFAS and other emerging requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze product Bill of Materials (BoMs), manufacturing data, and supplier information for environmental impact analysis.
Ensure compliance with international environmental regulations such as:
- RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
- REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals)
- WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
- PFAS Regulations
- California Proposition 65, TSCA, and other region-specific directives.
Support Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for products and components using tools such as GaBi, or equivalent.
Work with cross-functional teams (Design, Supply Chain, Compliance, and Sustainability) to gather and validate compliance data.
Maintain and update material declaration and compliance databases (e.g., IPC-1752A, BOMcheck, IMDS, SCIP, GDX).
Contribute to supplier engagement efforts related to sustainability and compliance data collection.
Assist in preparing sustainability reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory filings.
Stay updated on evolving global environmental compliance regulations and sustainability trends.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline with 7.5 CGPA & above .
Strong academic background in sustainability, environmental science, or product stewardship.
Exposure to or coursework in Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and tools.
Understanding of environmental compliance regulations such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE and PFAS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data management tools.
