As a Senior Event Manager, BR, you’ll oversee the planning, organization, and execution of consumer events that engage audiences and create meaningful experiences. Based in São Paulo, this role includes managing conventions like Brazil Game Show and Anime Friends, as well as Team Liquid-branded activations. You will deliver events that uphold Team Liquid’s high standards of innovation, quality, and effectiveness, while cultivating strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan, oversee, and evaluate large-scale consumer events, ensuring alignment with Team Liquid’s goals and broader priorities.
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor selection, scheduling, budget oversight, venue coordination, and on-site operations, to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication for stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure event strategies align with company goals.
  • Provide guidance to team members or contributors involved in event planning, fostering an environment that promotes excellence and mutual success.
  • Oversee and mentor team members, offering guidance and feedback to encourage professional development and alignment with event goals.
  • Oversee multiple events at various stages, adapting to evolving priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Ensure all events meet Team Liquid’s emphasis on detail, accessibility, and audience engagement.
  • Evaluate event outcomes, gather insights, and recommend improvements to enhance future projects.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience managing large consumer events, including conventions such as Brazil Game Show, Anime Friends, or similar.
  • Experience managing teams or mentoring others, with a focus on achieving goals and fostering development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience coordinating complex projects across diverse teams.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset that thrives in dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with communities or events that prioritize meaningful audience engagement.
  • A genuine interest in gaining deeper insights into gaming, esports, and crafting meaningful event experiences.
  • Fluency in English.

You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have: 

  • Experience in the gaming or esports industry.
  • Knowledge of live and digital event production.

Additional Information

  • This role involves approximately 20% domestic travel, with occasional international travel required for event-related needs. Flexibility is essential, including availability during evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of event schedules. Travel and work hours will vary based on project requirements.

This is a position with a PJ (Pessoa Jurídica) type of contract.
