Job Description

As the Football Club (FC) Senior Finance Manager, you will work hybrid, defined as 3+ days in an office, supporting FC Commercial Management. You will oversee and provide global franchise finance support (forecasts, reporting, and other financial modeling) on total franchise revenue and cost of sales (including revenue reductions, revenue & inventory reserves, other). To deliver these responsibilities, you will collaborate with cross functional groups including business partners, Franchise & Global Commercial & Marketing Finance, Accounting, and Enterprise FP&A. You will report to the FC Finance Director.
Must have:
  • Build relationships and collaborate to meet financial objectives
  • Prepare and present business reviews with clear insights
  • Drive results by partnering on business projects and tracking metrics
  • Oversee live service and full game revenue financial forecasts
  • Provide insightful analysis to grow business and manage risks
  • Conduct deep financial analysis for revenue optimization and ROI
  • Partner with Accounting for financial close deliverables
  • Lead initiatives to improve and automate forecasting/reporting
  • Foster a culture of inclusion and diversity
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 9+ years financial experience, including Commercial Retail and Digital Revenue
  • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis
  • Proficiency in Accounting and GAAP knowledge
  • Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Role Overview:

As the Football Club (FC) Senior Finance Manager, you will work hybrid, defined as 3+ days in an office, supporting FC Commercial Management. You will oversee and provide global franchise finance support (forecasts, reporting, and other financial modeling) on total franchise revenue and cost of sales (including revenue reductions, revenue & inventory reserves, other). To deliver these responsibilities, you will collaborate with cross functional groups including business partners, Franchise & Global Commercial & Marketing Finance, Accounting, and Enterprise FP&A. You will report to the FC Finance Director.

What You'll Do:

  • Build relationships with partners and actively collaborate to work towards meeting financial and business objectives
  • Prepare, hold, and present business reviews for leaders focused on the story (not just data) with clear insights and actionable presentation material
  • Drive results by partnering on business-related projects such as modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics
  • Financial Close, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis
  • Oversee live service, full game, other revenue financial forecast for Finance. Provide insightful partnership and analysis to increase and grow business, identify & manage risks & opportunities.
  • Provide deep financial analysis focused on a variety of areas such as optimizing revenue and / or profitability and evaluating ROI of promotions
  • Partner with the Accounting group to manage Close deliverables, timelines, process, and reporting
  • Drive FP&A Excellence
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes
  • Lead and foster a culture of inclusion where diversity is celebrated
  • Train, coach, motivate and challenge team members in their development and career path

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 9+ years experience of related financial experience, Commercial Retail and Digital Revenue experience
  • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau and Oracle
