The Senior Finance Planning Analyst will be responsible for consolidating, measuring, and reporting commercial performance, as well as conducting financial modeling to support the operations of Image Guided Therapy in North America. Responsibilities include analyzing pricing, sales data, and equipment rentals; identifying market trends; providing variance analysis; creating KPIs; collaborating with data scientists on dashboards; assisting with rebates, fees budgeting, forecasting, and planning; providing financial models and analysis to support sales initiatives; communicating financial insights to senior management; and collaborating with leaders to identify growth opportunities and threats. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

You will be responsible for consolidating, measuring, and reporting commercial performance, as well as conducting financial modeling to support the operations of Image Guided Therapy in North America.

Your role:

  • Analyzes pricing, sales data, and equipment rentals, identifying market trends, providing variance analysis, creating key performance indicators (KPIs) while collaborating with data scientists developing automated sales and pricing performance dashboards (price realization, rebates, and leased equipment KPIs).
  • Assists finance and commercial operations with accurate and timely rebates, GPO/IDN fees budgeting, forecasting, and planning as well as handles all collections' inquiries regarding equipment rental charges.
  • Provides financial models and analysis to support various sales initiatives, such as rebate programs and pricing strategies to work closely with sales leaders providing financial insights and recommendations on how to improve commercial performance (margin/share).
  • Communicates and presents financial insights to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborates with sales, marketing and supply chain leaders identifying potential opportunities and threats to sales growth.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling and/or relevant general analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Your skills include Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization software such as Qlik, Power BI and a strong understanding of CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP) systems with strong reporting and data visualization skills.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to convert data into actionable insights for all levels of the organization. You also have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $85,000 to $136,000.

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $81,000 to $129,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN or Nashville, TN.
