Job Description

The Senior Full-stack Developer will be part of the Podio Team, which is a collaborative work and project management platform. The role involves developing new features, writing efficient code, and participating in unit testing, bug fixing, and code reviews. The developer will work in an agile environment, contribute to product planning, and stay updated on emerging technologies. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and solving problems together. The ideal candidate will have experience with PHP, MVC frameworks, Python, AWS services, containerization technologies, relational databases, web application development, and Git. The role also includes working with JavaScript, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ruby-on-Rails, job/message queues, Linux/UNIX operating systems, and shell scripting.

Must have:

Experience in software development with PHP
Experience with MVC frameworks/Symfony or other PHP framework
Practical knowledge with Python
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Route53, etc.)
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)
Experience with relational databases (MySQL)
Experience in web applications / SaaS products development
Experience with Git
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Focus on writing efficient code
Ability to work independently
Fluency in English

Good to have:

Experience with JavaScript (React, jQuery, backbone js)
DevOps and /or Terraform experience
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Practical knowledge with Ruby-on-Rails
Experience with job/message queues (RabbitMQ)
Understanding of Linux/UNIX operating systems and shell scripting
Experience with Jenkins

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Podio Team. Podio is a collaborative work and project management platform designed to streamline workflows, improve communication, and boost team productivity. It provides extensive customization options, allowing users to create personalized workspaces, build no-code apps, and manage tasks, projects, and communication effortlessly in one place. A standout feature is its workflow automation, which lets users automate repetitive tasks and optimize business processes without requiring complex coding. With rules and triggers, actions can be executed automatically, saving time and increasing efficiency within Podio workspaces.

We are growing our Sofia team and looking for individuals with a natural curiosity and a passion for learning eager to accelerate their software development skills. In this role, you will:

Work in a dynamic, agile environment involving multiple technologies
Contribute ideas to the product planning and brainstorming sessions
Develop new features for resolving enterprise-level problems
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using the latest development best practices
As a part of your day-to-day duties, you will be focusing on unit testing, feature implementation, bug fixing, and code reviews.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Your background:

Track record in software development with PHP
Experience with MVC frameworks/Symfony or other PHP framework
Practical knowledge with Python
AWS services – EC2, S3, Route53, AWS Route53, Elastic Load Balancer, etc.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)
Relational databases (MySQL)
Experience in the development of web applications / SaaS products
Experience with Git
Ability to learn, adapt, and deliver comprehensive solutions in various technologies and solutions
Focus on writing efficient, high-performance code
Ability to work independently and respond to tight deadlines
Team-player attitude
Fluency in English

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:

Experience with JavaScript (React, jQuery, backbone js)
