Senior Functional Lead

The Project Manager is responsible for the deployment of the Treasury systems system and other Treasury initiatives into the Dentsu business globally for the benefit of the group.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the in-country deployment of Treasury systems across Dentsu APAC to the following KPIs:

  • On time delivery

  • To the correct quality specification

  • Within budget

• Drive delivery of in market activity including technical and business change.

• Collaborate with the Finance Transformation Programme to integrate Treasury systems with other applications in the target state architecture suite (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Concur, Workday, Blackline, etc).

• Work with the Treasury Programme Director and the integration teams, via the relevant governance, to integrate Treasury systems with all relevant Dentsu local market systems (e.g. media systems, finance systems, etc).

• Work with global and regional (APAC) process teams to design, implement and embed treasury and operational finance process improvements, utilising Treasury systems.

• Provide system and business process support to global rollouts specifically intercompany netting, cash management, cash flow forecasting and payments.

• Be a subject matter expert on Treasury systems, Treasury policies and processes, as well as payments solutions.

• Attend regular Regional Meetings with Operational Finance leadership in APAC, to embed Treasury systems into the APAC Op Finance strategy.

• Update the FIT market report on the status of Treasury systems implementations in relevant FTP markets in APAC.

• Secure and approve technical and business readiness for each market cutover in region.

• To validate that the relevant market requirements gathered can be met and the solution involving Treasury systems is fit-for-purpose.

• Ensures that all Risks and Issues are documented in the relevant logs and regularly reviews the risks/issues to mitigate them.

• To work with both Treasury, Finance Teams, BCoE (Bangalore) and Global Services Team to ensure a smooth delivery and handover of services to ensure that BAU support for the project is in-place for go-live.

• Report on a regular basis to Group Treasury leadership to highlight progress and any slippages in a timely manner.

• Suggests enhancements to process and reporting packs as part of the continuous improvement program.

• Experience in XML payments. Candidate should have a general understanding of Domestic and International payments in XML  formats - Pain001 and Pain002

• Demonstrate deep knowledge in one or more areas of Treasury Management System (TMS) configuration and the Treasury business.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of organization to meet deadlines and expectations.

• Handle administrative and PMO responsibilities, including preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations, and ensuring compliance with internal processes and governance standards.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and methodologies in project management to bring innovative approaches and improvements to project execution.

• Provide industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of the Product solution for the business needs.

• Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project

Experience

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent. Certified in PMP or Prince 2 is an added advantage.

• Experience with the deployment of Treasury and/or corporate payments solutions.

• Can clearly demonstrate management qualities.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in implementing and managing Treasury Management System roll-out.

• Knowledge of SWIFT, with particular emphasis on payments.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, skills to ensure that all stakeholders are led through the project delivery lifecycle.

• Process-led thinking to ensure that business processes can be challenged without conflict and processes can be reviewed and improved.

• Ability to lead complex projects without being micro-managed on a daily or weekly basis.

• Awareness of when to escalate issues and problems to senior management in a timely manner.

• Has a clear eye for detail.

• Will not let a challenge drop until it has been resolved.

• Enjoys being part of a team and is fully engaged to contribute to the team to share knowledge.
