Description

The Senior Game Designer will drive the development of games from a gameplay perspective and be a creative voice guiding and providing day-to-day expertise with our current and future products.

• Lead the game design of Mobile Free-to-Play projects from concept and production through launch, transitioning to live services
• Design live events, release new content, optimize experiences, and improve the game through data-lead insights
• Apply deep knowledge of the Free-to-Play model and effectively translate it into systems, mechanics and improvements - including monetization, retention, engagement and social
• Help build great teams, not just games - our people are our most precious asset and you understand how to lead, collaborate with, motivate and empower high-calibre people to be their best
• Use market insights (comparative research, deconstruction of live games, benchmark data analysis) to inform decisions, building on great products while helping us to innovate new ideas
• Support product planning by contributing to backlog creation, feature, sound and asset lists.

• 5+ years of industry experience designing mobile games
• Has led the design of at least one launched mobile game from inception
• Has experience as designer on a game in live operations
• Vast understanding of games, economy/balance, design and game mechanics
• Impeccable communication skills
• Expertise with user acquisition, player retention, engagement and monetization KPI’s, as well as how to translate analytics into actionable game features and balancing improvements
• Experience with microtransactions and F2P core game loops, and how they relate
• Knowledge of trends in mobile gaming, with other markets being a plus
• Strong mathematical abilities & spreadsheet balancing skills a plus
