IO Interactive is currently looking for a Senior Game Designer to join Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.

You will play a pivotal role in creating innovative and engaging gameplay experiences in the world of 007. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of all game design principles and mechanics, as well as a track record of successfully shipping AAA titles.

What you will do:

    • Take ownership and drive key features and areas of our game.
    • Create detailed design documents and presentation material for product stakeholders and maintain them for the duration of project development.
    • Work with the Lead and Production teams in breaking down complex designs to simple, prioritized tasks and goals that are clearly communicated to the wider team.
    • Collaborate with cross discipline teams to design and develop systems that support the director’s vision.
    • Use our proprietary tools to design, prototype and test gameplay mechanics while identifying opportunities for improvements.
    • Provide mentoring, feedback, and enrichment of the creative energies within the design team.
    • Deliver content within quality requirements, on schedule, and within technical limitations.

Who you are:

    • An experienced Senior Game Designer who has shipped at least one AAA title in a design role on console or PC (from pre-production to release).
    • Extensive technical capabilities, lots of implementation experience and eager to learn our proprietary engine Glacier.
    • A generalist designer with a strong grasp of systems and mechanics design.
    • Confident in your craft and have the ability to work independently.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, who works collaboratively with the team and other departments.
    • Insatiable curiosity, enthusiasm and a desire to push the boundaries of what is possible.

About The Company

IO Interactive is a 25-year old, AAA independent game studio, creators of HITMAN, Kane & Lynch, Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters. We are currently working on Project 007, Project Fantasy, and continue to develop Glacier, our award-winning game engine.

IO Interactive was established in September 1998.
