YOUR GAME

Develop a second-to-none understanding of Albion’s gameplay systems and its audience
Work with the design team and game direction to decide the direction of Albion’s future development
Take charge of concepting new and exciting gameplay systems to maximize the long-term engagement of our players with the game and lead their development together with the production team
Facilitate communication between designers, artists and programmers to ensure that the quality and implementation match the intended direction / vision
Foster an inspiring, collaborative and productive environment for creative work
Analyze available data and player opinions, and make active use of them in your decision making. Build towards improving the available data and foster players relations
Build balancing models and use them to balance features, paying special attention to their overall impact on the game

YOUR TALENT

Minimum Qualifications:

You MUST be very excited about the opportunity to work on Albion Online and have a keen interest in the game or similar games
5+ years of industry experience in game development, at least 2 of which in a GaaS environment
Deep understanding of the MMORPG genre and business model
Understanding of psychological mechanisms that keep players engaged
A strong sense of what makes gameplay experience compelling and fun
Solid theoretical and practical Game Design knowledge
Tools of the trade: MS Excel, flowcharts, visual and level editing skills a plus
Intense creativity, a passion to innovate, and the drive to go beyond what is directly asked of you
Excellent communication skills in English and other languages are a bonus

Preferred Qualifications:

A degree in game design or software development or a related field
