What You Can Expect To Work On

• Provides technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on all feature releases and builds. 
• Be able to nurture and grow the talent that you work with down the road. 
• Implement and improve a variety of fast and efficient core software using Unity while working on an online multiplayer game.
• Maintain and build code using C# for all assigned work streams.
• Creating original game mechanics.
• Help provide architectural oversight across the entire application.
• Collaborate to devise optimal engineering solutions to technical challenges.
• Drawing up, documenting and implementing detailed design documentation, including charts and diagrams that outline the various concepts and components involved.
• Conduct code reviews and daily stand-ups with the team.
• Testing the game and making amendments to enhance its capabilities.
• Work closely with other departments such as the Design, Art and DevOps teams.
• Grow and hire an internal Unity team

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience: Proven work experience with a minimum of 5+ years work experience, and  completing a full video game life-cycle and current knowledge of the latest gaming trends and technologies. 
• Experience with multiplayer games is required and knowledge with photon or other similar networking apis.
• Experience with cross platform multiplayer is required. At a minimum, with both mobile and desktop platforms.
• Familiarity with SCRUM is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with ECS (entity component system) methodology is an advantage.
• Coding: Proficiency in C#, Unity and be able to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. They should be able to work with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Source Control: Experience using version control software (Perforce, Git)
• Teamwork: Able to work as part of a team.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complicated problems using best practices.
