Amber is seeking a Senior Game Economy Designer specializing in Web3 games to contribute to its portfolio, including NFT collections and token-based in-game economies. The role involves designing meta-game systems, monetization mechanics, and content balancing for Token & NFT based games. The designer will conduct market research, propose NFT pricing strategies, balance game economies with cryptocurrency, and assist in tokenomics design. Collaboration with design and tech teams is crucial for frictionless NFT and token usage. This role involves pitching creative ideas for new web3 features and working towards sustainable tokenomics, all while ensuring a player-friendly experience. The candidate will work with designer team to create sustainable Tokenomic for games or collections.

Must have:

2+ years of game economy design experience.
1+ year of experience with Blockchain products.
Advanced knowledge of monetization and LiveOps.
Knowledge of various token and NFT monetization models.
Good knowledge of Tokenomics (market cap, diluted, issuance etc..)
Advanced understanding of free-to-play economies.
Proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
Proven experience mentoring junior team members.
Proficient English communication skills.
Experience with economy design tools (e.g., Excel).

The Quest:

Design meta-game systems, monetization mechanics, content balancing, and more for Token & NFT based game.
Conducting market research on NFT game & collections to stay up to date with market trend
Propose and balance NFT pricing launch strategy
Balance & manage Game economy with cryptocurrency involved
Help Designing tokenomics for new game token
Work with designer and tech team to ensure NFT and token frictionless usage.
Work with the design team toward game mechanics adapted to Token based Games
Pitch creative ideas for new features and project with web 3 features
Work with design team to create sustainable Tokenomic for games or collections

The Skills:

2+ years of experience as a game economy designer, or equivalent background
1+ Experience working on Blockchain oriented product (Games,Dapp..)
Advanced on live product and monetization & Liveops practices
Good Knowledge of the different type of token & NFT monetization model: Play 2 Earn, Play & Own, one token economy, 2 token economy…
Good knowledge of Tokenomics (market cap, diluted, issuance etc..)
Advanced knowledge of free-to-play economy and monetization fundamentals
Advanced understanding of game metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Proficient in data analysis and modeling to optimize game economies.
Proven experience mentoring junior team members.
Proficient English with outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Extensive experience using common economy design tools, like Excel
Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
