As a Senior Game Services Engineer in our Central Technology organization, you will architect and build the game service backends of Bungie’s next generation title. You will collaborate with fellow engineers and Game Services Leadership to identify risks, and scale needs to accomplish this.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Craft and update robust, performant, and maintainable services
Participate in team rituals including standups and other agile practices
Provide support, mentorship, and constructive feedback to peers
Participate in on-call service rotation for supporting live games

REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to conceptualize robust, proprietary delivery pipelines
Ability to mentor other engineers
Ability to write high-performance C# service code

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Familiarity with distributed systems
Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, and/or RabbitMQ
Experience navigating large scale legacy code
Experience developing game backend services

Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Bellevue Pay Range

$162,000 - $191,000 USD

Most Bungie full-time employees will adopt a digital first approach allowing remote work in Bungie approved locations (outside of positions identified as 100% onsite in Bellevue/Seattle, or individuals preferring a hybrid/flex environment).
