Senior Games Programmer
Job Summary
Job Description
The Senior Games Programmer will be responsible for writing efficient and reliable Unity scripts using C#. They will work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to create gameplay features. They will also be involved in highlighting and solving potential issues in the codebase and writing and maintaining technical documentation. The role requires experience in game development, understanding art workflows, and performance optimization.
Must have:
- At least one shipped product on mobile or console.
- Minimum of 2 years in the video games industry.
- Understanding of game development challenges.
- Working knowledge of version control software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience in network game development.
- Knowledge of C++, LUA, or JavaScript.
- Experience writing GPU shaders for mobile.

Responsibilities:
- Writing efficient and reliable Unity scripts using C#.
- Helping the team highlight and solve potential issues in the codebase.
- Working closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to create game-play features.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Requirements:
- At least one shipped product on mobile or console platforms.
- Minimum of 2 years video games industry or equivalent experience.
- A clear understanding of the particular challenges in game development, such as art workflow, performance optimisation, memory management and supporting multiple platforms.
- Working knowledge of version control software (SVN, Perforce).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable but not essential skills:
- Experience working in network game development.
- Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following languages C++, LUA or JavaScript.
- Experience writing efficient GPU shaders for mobile platforms.
