About the role
We are seeking a talented Senior Generative AI Engineer with a strong knowledge in Generative AI and emerging technologies to join our dynamic team. As a Generative AI Engineer, you will work on designing, developing, and integrating AI-driven solutions into Matrix application ecosystems. This role requires a problem-solving mindset, hands-on experience with AI models, prompt engineering and a drive for continuous learning and innovation.
Requirements and responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and refine Generative AI solutions.
- Conduct research and experiment wixth the latest advancements in Generative AI to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Optimize and fine-tune AI prompts and/or models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Work on end-to-end development, from ideation to deployment, ensuring seamless integration of AI components into existing platforms.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high coding standards and best practices.
What you’ll bring:
- Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts and hands-on experience in developing AI-powered applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in AI frameworks.
- Experience working with AI LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, and AWS Bedrock and RAG pipelines.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and its optimisations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., AWS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
