Behaviour Interactive seeks a Senior Graphics Programmer for their Dead by Daylight team. This role involves collaborating with designers, artists, and programmers to implement and optimize rendering features, tools, and state-of-the-art techniques across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch platforms. Responsibilities include delivering new systems on new hardware, monitoring performance, optimizing for all platforms, and fixing bugs. The position requires strong experience in game graphics programming, Unreal Engine 4 or 5, console profiling, 3D graphics principles, modern graphics APIs (DirectX, Vulkan), and modern C++. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented and collaborative.

We are seeking a talented Senior Graphics Programmer to join the dynamic Dead by Daylight graphics team. As part of an evolving Game as a Service (GaaS) title on PC and console, Dead by Daylight offers unique challenges and creative opportunities in real-time rendering.

Working closely with a diverse group of professionals across programming, design, art, and animation, our graphics team tackles a broad range of rendering features and optimizations to deliver a high-quality, immersive gaming experience. If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of game graphics, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role you will:

    • Collaborate with design, artists and other developers to implement and optimize rendering features as well as rendering pipeline tools such as game specific special effects, debug / profiling tools, integration or implementation of state-of-the-art rendering techniques on PC, XBOX Series X, XBOX One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch;
    • Deliver new or existing systems on new hardware and platforms;
    • Monitor and improve rendering performance through profiling and optimization on all supported platforms; 
    • Fix bugs related to your area of work. Dead by Daylight is a live game as a service where features get added and others improved continuously. Bugs come in all shapes, forms, and priorities, from a simple fix, to a very hard to reproduce critical issue. 

What we're looking for:

    • Strong expérience  in the video game industry with a focus on graphics programming;
    • Expertise with Unreal Engine 4 or 5;
    • Proven experience with profiling and profiling tools on console;
    • Strong understanding of 3D graphics principles, including shading, lighting, texturing, and rendering techniques.
    • Good knowledge of modern graphics APIs like DirectX11/12, Vulkan and shading languages like HLSL.
    • Experience with modern C++ 11/14.
    • You need to be solution-oriented and possess a collaborative spirit.
