Your Impact
As a strategic and dynamic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will Partner with three distinct areas of Axon’s business - Marketing, Legal and Professional Services (under Sales), through a period of rapid scale. You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving key people strategies and initiatives that support business outcomes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
You will provide leadership to these key executives and their organizations across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including Talent Development, Org Effectiveness, Executive Coaching, Compensation, and Employee Relations. To be successful in this role you must understand organizational priorities and translate those into a talent strategy that enables the business to scale, at pace.
You will leverage data, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to influence business leaders and deliver solutions which drive higher performance, retention and motivation across teams at all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Do
Location: Boston, Seattle or Scottsdale Office
Provide both strategic thinking and tactical execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Partner with senior leaders in Marketing, Legal, and Professional Services to align people strategies with business goals.
Act as a coach and sounding board for senior leaders to elevate team performance and leadership capability.
Identify & analyze gaps across the talent lifecycle, and through strong root-cause analysis, design & execute simple, high-quality solutions which enable the business to scale.
Lead talent and performance management, succession planning and leadership development programs for respective client groups.
Drive rapid growth and evolution for client groups through organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports employee engagement and development.
Use both people and business metrics to inform decisions and measure impact. Through storytelling, leverage data to identify and align your leaders on talent strategies that improve the overall health of the org.
Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) including Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and L&D to deliver seamless people solutions.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee retention, drive motivation, and increase efficiency
Build credibility as a thought partner and Subject Matter Expert in your area.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 8 years of HR Business Partner or similar relevant experience
Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly grasp business priorities.
Proven experience working in high-growth or scaling environments.
Ability to build trust with leaders and managers at all levels of the organization
Fast pace but diligent execution skills
Strong Problem-solving, critical thinking, and root-cause analysis skills
Dealing with ambiguity and constantly changing priorities
Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive outcomes.
Intellectual curiosity and a track-record of continuous learning
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
