Job Description

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will maintain a stable IT environment, deploying and administering endpoint systems. You'll support studio operations, working with internal game studios and publishing staff. Responsibilities include resolving hardware/software issues on PCs, Macs, and servers; administering Windows server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP); troubleshooting network connectivity; using imaging and deployment tools (SCCM); developing documentation; and providing innovative solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years' experience in desktop support
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Understanding of Windows, macOS, Active Directory & Office 365
  • Knowledge of server and PC hardware, software, and security
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Good to have:
  • MCSE certification
  • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with game development consoles and processes

The Challenge

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be working with outstanding engineering and production operations teams to maintain a stable environment. You'll primarily be charged with the deployment and administration of endpoint systems and tools to support studio operations. You'll work closely with our internal game studios and publishing staff in supporting new services and tackle issues as they arise. What You’ll Take On

  • Serve as primary IT support, coordinating with existing IT staff to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on PC workstations, Macs, and Dell servers
  • Build relationships with leaders from our on-site studios and the wider Global Support Team
  • Serve as an escalation point to our existing IT staff to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on PC/macOS workstations as well as infrastructure hardware on an as-needed basis
  • Day-to-day administration of Tools, Applications and Windows server environment such as AD, DNS, DHCP, etc
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including VPN In-depth experience with imaging and deployment tools (SCCM) to ensure workstations and applications are deployed and updated in a standardized manner
  • Develop and maintain procedural and user resolution documentation Provide timely and innovative solutions to unique problems
  • Ability to work calmly in high-stress situations and lead multiple ongoing projects

What You Bring

  • You are eager to grow and develop skills that will help make 2K the best gaming company in the world.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in desktop support and/or IT department supporting end-users
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, MCSE certification or equivalent experience
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Windows and macOS operating systems, Active Directory & Office 365 in an enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of server and PC workstation hardware, software and security essentials
  • Understanding of video conferencing equipment and usage
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and communications skills written and verbal
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new and changing technologies
  •  

Technical Qualifications

  • Experience with complex, multi-functional project work, tracking and maintaining progress with systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Familiarity with current game development consoles, development processes and terminology is a plus
  • Dedicated, collaborative professional with experience in a L2 support and L3 issue escalations
