Senior Java Backend Developer

Gamblify is expanding and we are looking for new amazing colleagues to join our backend development department in Skopje!

As a backend developer at Gamblify you will be joining our existing backend team. The team consists of four amazing colleagues with most having 10+ years of experience in the industry.

Our server side stack consists of:

• Web service applications written in Java.
• Communication with frontends using REST and protobuf.
• A PostgreSQL database accessed using jOOQ.
• Hosted on AWS using S3, Elastic Beanstalk and RDS through IaC.

What this means is that you will get the opportunity to:

• Build backend web services for our online casino and betting systems.
• Build backend applications for connection to payment providers, banking systems, odds providers and many other external API’s.
• Perform DevOps on the systems.

You’re good at:

• Being an all around great software developer.
• Java or similar OO statically typed languages.
• SQL
• Git

It would be extra awesome if you:

• Have many years of experience with SQL.
• Have many years of experience in Java and related technologies: Maven, Java EE, Spring
• Have experience with container technologies.
• Use Linux as your daily OS.
