Senior Java Full stack Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions. The role involves applying technical proficiency across the SDLC, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize tasks. The candidate will focus on developing scalable and critical applications, ensuring adherence to best practices, and identifying errors in a testing environment. Must Have

• Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks
• Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and scope of development
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment
• Contribute towards developing and adhering to best-practices for scalable, relevant, and critical applications
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• Strong experience in Core Java, Angular, SQL
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship

Good to Have

• At least 4 years of experience in Core Java 11 and Spring
• At least 4 years of experience in Spring boot, MVC, Framework
• At least 4 years of experience developing Microservices /Webservices /REST services /SOAP services/JSON/JWT
• At least 4 years of experience PL SQL / Oracle
• Experience in Messaging (JMS) such as MQ/TIBCO/Kafka
• At least 3 years of experience Design Patterns, Team Management and Code Review
• At least 3 years of experience in UI technologies like React JS or Angular 14 & above
• Very good understanding of Java resource, Memory optimization and Caching framework
• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues in production including root cause analysis
• Ability to communicate with business team and translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Ability to interact with multiple stake holders at onsite such as DBA, Infrastructure team, Network team, Business, Architecture group
• Experience in DevOps tools using Maven, Jenkins, GIT Lab/ GIT Hub, TeamCity, Nexus, Terraform, Selenium, Sonar Cube, Fortify
• Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
