Job Description

This senior-level role involves developing and maintaining Unix infrastructure tooling (Linux and Solaris) for integrated circuits lithography. Responsibilities include Linux shell and Python scripting, design and development of software tools, unit testing, code review, documentation, and test case creation and execution. Close collaboration with team members and clients is essential. Occasional travel to the Netherlands may be required. The team consists of over 30 engineers.

Must have:

Good knowledge of Linux OS
Python (5+ years experience)
Shell scripting
Linux package management

Good to have:

Virtualization under Linux
ESXi
Linux package management

Project description

The proposed project is in the high technology domain of Integrated Circuits Lithography.
Project scope is the development and maintenance of various Unix infrastructure tooling (Linux and Solaris) supporting the application software infrastructure.
The local team size is over 30 engineers.
Testing of Unix (Solaris and Linux) software tooling infrastructure for integrated circuits lithography machines.
Occasional travel to The Netherlands possible optionally, when travel restrictions allow

Responsibilities

Linux shell and Python scripting

Participation in the design and development of different software tools

Development and maintenance of software tools

Development of unit-tests, participation in the code review process

Documentation of designed scripts

Test cases creation and execution for validating the developed tools

Close interaction with all team members and customer representatives

Skills

Must have

Good knowledge of Linux OS (minimum basic administration level)

Python (minimum 5 years hands-on experience)

Shell scripting

Linux package management

Bachelor or Master with an education in Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent

Nice to have

Virtulization under Linux

ESXi

Linux package management
