The Senior Manager, Analytics leads the development of data-driven solutions for clients, including report automation, analysis, and insight, to optimize media initiatives. They manage data, drive innovation, and ensure team success. This role involves overseeing data and automation tasks, prioritizing, and directing the team. The role requires managing complexity, collaborating across teams, and comfort with a lean operating environment. Responsibilities include leading media performance strategy, developing campaign measurement frameworks, establishing data-driven processes, guiding a team of data engineers, implementing measurement solutions, and ensuring alignment with approved measurement frameworks.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in SQL and cloud databases
  • Experience working with data engineers
  • Media analytics experience
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, or similar dashboard products

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Analytics leads the development of data driven solutions for clients – including report automation, analysis, and insight – with the objective of optimizing the performance of brand-focused and above-the-line media initiatives. The Senior Manager, Analytics works together with a broader team to manage data and insight delivery processes, drive innovation, and ensure all around team success. The Senior Manager, Analytics will oversee tasks related to data and automation; they will help the team prioritize, support the team as they decide on methodology, and direct the team to the right people to consult on these tasks.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is execution focused, able to deliver under tight timelines, and manage data challenges in all phases of media performance (both digital and non-digital). Your success requires the ability to manage complexity while collaborating across teams, experience within a matrixed organization, and comfort with a lean operating environment that highly leverages automation.

  • You will report to a Director, Analytics

  • You will lead the execution of media performance strategy on behalf of clients, including reporting, measurement, & data automation

  • You understand core business challenges facing both brand & performance teams, and develop relevant campaign measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning opportunities

  • You will establish data-driven processes to inform brand investment, media and budget decisions

  • You will guide a team of data engineers in completing, prioritizing, and communicating tasks

  • You implement measurement solutions to understand the success of brand-focused and above-the-line media in-market (locally and nationally) and its incremental effect on business outcomes

  • You ensure alignment between day-to-day analytics support & approved measurement frameworks

  • You participate in team-wide culture of learning by staying current on current industry trends, developments in methodologies and technologies

Qualifications

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related quantitative field

  • You must have 4+ years of advanced experience in SQL and cloud databases. BigQuery preferred.

  • You must have experience working with data engineers (preference for leading teams that include data engineers)

  • You must have media analytics experience

  • You will have knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio or similar dashboard products

  • You will be able to manage a complex client with multiple brands and teams

The annual base salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for commission following the terms of the company's plan in effect at the time the commission is earned. .
