Job Description

As a Senior Manager of Functional Training at InMobi, you will develop and deliver impactful training solutions. This involves collaborating with leaders and business partners, deeply understanding business needs, and designing innovative training programs. You'll leverage a curriculum-based approach, mentor the team, utilize the LMS, and build a network of external training partners. Responsibilities include designing solutions with optimal market fit, creating engaging content, and driving measurable outcomes. The role requires strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills, along with a global mindset.

What You'll Do 
  • Develop skilling and training solutions through engagement and building solid partnership with leaders and people business partners
  • Develop a keen understanding of the business landscape and unique problem statements to translate into training design thinking
  • Develop norm-bending thesis on the problem statements to arrive at training solutions
  • Take a 360-degree view to design training solutions with the optimal PMF in the training solution
  • Adopt a curriculum-based approach to skill and uplevel teams towards winning organizational goals
  • Mentor the team/ vendors for the development and execution of global functional training processes, programs and offerings 
  • Leverage and build upon the LMS, for the delivery of essential as well as customised online training
  • Continually create a network of high-calibre external training partners to bring in best practices from across industries
What You Need To Succeed  
  • An ability to stay with the problem statement, until complete comprehension of the same
  • Deep thinking to devise creative solutions for the problem statement
  • A strong conviction and the voice to engage with the organisation to understand the problem, imbibe the org values, influence the thinking and deliver the solutions
  • Awareness of the latest training content across the business, technology and product management world, and judgement to suitably leverage the right material and experts for InMobi’s business goals.
  • Relationships and partnerships (internal/external) across all levels of the organization, exhibiting strong leadership and influencing skills 
  • Comfort with fast-paced and a rapidly learning organization
  • Innate curiosity and innovative thinking
  • Bias for execution, willing to get their hands dirty while strengthening systems and processes 
  • Strong Facilitation skills- teaching and training 
  • High ownership and accountability to understand, design and deliver content that solves for organisational wins 
  • Effective communication with an ability to influence stakeholder thinking on learning interventions and training programs 
  • A global mindset- ability to work across different global cultures, in a matrix style environment 
Qualifications and Experience: 
  • A pivot from a front-ending consuting/ product/ engineering role into design thinking and teaching for organizational wins
    OR Qualification in Organizational Development, or related field
    Education in engineering will be advantageous to the role
  • 8-10 years of experience in the Learning and Organizational Development function
  • Strong experience using psychometric tools for assessment and development is preferred 
  • Experience of building and working with/ on LMS platforms
  • Strong network with consultants and vendors, of a cutting-edge order
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles and behavioural science will be an advantage
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in driving measurable outcomes and scaling products/ interventions
  • Exposure to delivery and execution of training for global audience
