Dream11's finance team is responsible for managing finances for stakeholders like investors, board, government, bankers, vendors, customers, and employees. They focus on planning, budgeting, MIS reporting, and ensuring compliance with fiscal laws, including direct and indirect taxes like GST, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing. The Senior Manager - Taxation will manage and advise on international tax issues, including transfer pricing, Permanent Establishment risk, DTAAs, and CFC regulations. They will lead strategic tax advice for optimal company structures, advise on tax implications of funding, develop tax-efficient profit repatriation strategies, evaluate jurisdictions for entities, and manage tax assessments and litigation. The role requires staying updated on direct and indirect tax law changes.
Must have:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in taxation
- In-depth experience in international tax advisory
- Handling complex international tax issues

Job Details
Finance @Dream11:
Our finance team works relentlessly for stakeholders like Investors, Board, Government, Bankers, Business Vendor Partners, Customers & Employees. They are committed to planning & managing finances through Budgeting and Planning, MIS Reporting, etc.
The team ensures fiscal law compliances, including Direct and Indirect Tax comprising GST, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, etc., while ensuring internal control for financial transactions and significantly contributing towards informed decision-making at Dream11.
Your Role:
- Manage and advise on international tax issues including transfer pricing, Permanent Establishment (PE) risk assessment, application of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs), and Controlled Foreign Corporation (CFC) regulations
- Lead and manage the provision of strategic tax advice on optimal company and group structures for new ventures, expansions, and reorganizations, ensuring tax efficiency
- Advise on the tax implications of various modes of funding (equity, debt, hybrid instruments) both domestically and internationally
- Develop and recommend tax-efficient strategies for repatriation of profits, including dividends, royalties, and service fees
- Evaluate appropriate jurisdictions for holding companies, investments, and operational entities, considering tax treaties and local tax laws
- Analyze and advise on the tax impact of cross-border transactions, inter-company pricing, and restructurings
- Manage tax assessments, appeals, and litigation proceedings before various tax authorities
- Keep abreast of changes in direct tax laws and indirect tax laws and ensure timely implementation
Qualifiers:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in taxation
- Demonstrable, in-depth experience in providing tax advisory on handling complex international tax issues
