Job Description

Our Client is one of the largest TV providers in North America. We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to assess software quality. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. As part of the Scrum Team, you will run multiple tests simultaneously, collect device logs, provide mobile device test execution for apps, Google Smoke Tests, and proprietary applications. You will also conduct testing for pre-loaded apps and log, track, and follow up on defects until completion, performing Ad Hoc, Regression, Manual, and Functional Testing.

Good To Have:

Previous experience with set up box testing

Must Have:

Run multiple tests simultaneously
Collect Device Logs
Provide Mobile Device test execution and test case for an app
Provide Google Smoke Tests and client's proprietary applications testing
Provide device testing of pre-loaded apps
Conduct testing for client's proprietary apps
Log, track and follow up on defects until completion
Perform Ad Hoc testing, Testing, Regression Testing, Manual Testing, Functional Testing
Writing test cases
Testing iOS, Android, and TV Platforms (Apple TV, Android TV, Firestick, Roku)
Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins
Agile Development
Blackbox testing

##### Skills

Must have

5+ years of QA experience
Good written/verbal communication skills.
Experience in writing test cases
Good problem-solving, and analytical abilities
Good planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Experience in testing iOS, Android, and TV Platforms(i.e., Apple TV, Android TV, Firestick, Roku)
Familiar with Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
Experience with Agile Development
Experience with Blackbox testing
