About The Role

 

We are looking for a self-employed Senior Marketing Manager to join our growing team! This role will run until December 2024, when it will be reviewed with the potential to be extended.

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, we are looking for an experienced, collaborative Senior Marketing Manager to help manage and coordinate go-to-market planning and execution for our debut title – Funko Fusion.

 

As part of a dedicated international marketing strike team, this role centres on managing operational marketing activities with a focus on paid media and influencer marketing while working closely with the team on global strategy and planning.

The role can be fully remote (from the UK/Europe) or hybrid, based from our studio in Warrington.

 

The role will:

 

  • Own and manage the media strategy and manage agency partners for execution, from paid social to display to OOH
  • Manage reporting on media campaign flights and proactively plan for testing and optimization
  • Own and manage the influencer strategy including organic and paid influencer activations, community superfans, and partner influencer networks to create an authentic launch campaign
  • Manage key stakeholder relations with US and EMEA marketing teams from partners
  • Manage all required approvals and be proactive in considering IP stakeholder requirements
  • Be an active participant in global strategy and planning for the overall marketing campaign
  • Support global brand partnership activations

 

About You


  • 5+ years of experience in video game marketing
  • Track record of launching a multiplatform titles, including a minimum of 1 shipped AAA title
  • Experience developing and managing paid media plans and influencer campaigns in the US and European markets
  • Strong understanding of the current video game landscape and modern marketing tactics
  • Strong spoken/written communicator for partner, media, and business audiences
  • Experience working with both creative minds and corporate entities
  • Self-starter and strong team player who can work independently and responsibly
  • Experience managing and working closely with agencies

  • Affinity with modern digital tactics; you can explain why something works in today’s digital landscape but also how it could go further than organic
  • Fan of pop culture and ideally a TV & movie expert
