Inkitt seeks a Senior Marketing Manager to drive growth and engagement within their reader and writer communities. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing initiatives across social media, SEO, partnerships, and content marketing; designing reader and writer loyalty programs; creating compelling content for various platforms; building a strong community; analyzing data to optimize strategies; and collaborating with product and customer success teams. The ideal candidate possesses 6+ years of experience in community management or growth marketing within a digital environment, demonstrating versatility across multiple marketing areas, creativity, analytical skills, strong communication, and a community-first approach.

What You’ll Do:

    • Drive Growth: Develop and execute initiatives to attract new readers and writers, leveraging a mix of growth strategies such as but not limited to social, SEO, partnerships, content marketing.
    • Engage and Retain: Design programs that delight current readers and writers, boosting loyalty and keeping our community active and inspired.
    • Content Marketing: Craft compelling, platform-specific content to fuel social media, email marketing, and other communication channels.
    • Community Building: Cultivate a strong sense of belonging by championing our community-first mindset and creating initiatives that empower our users to connect with one another.
    • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze initiative performance and user data to identify trends and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and customer success teams to align on goals and deliver exceptional user experiences.

What You'll Bring:

    • Proven Experience: 6+ years in community management, growth marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a digital, content, or social platform.
    • Versatility: You’re a marketing generalist with experience across multiple areas, such as digital marketing, community engagement, content creation, and retention strategies.
    • Creativity & Structure: You can think outside the box to create unique campaigns, while keeping your execution organized and methodical.
    • Empathy: You understand the needs of both writers and readers, fostering deep connections with the community.
    • Analytical Mindset: You’re comfortable digging into data, measuring success, and adapting strategies to achieve growth goals.
    • Strong Communication: You can craft messaging that resonates with a diverse audience and inspires action.
    • Community-First Approach: You believe in empowering users and creating authentic experiences that make them feel seen and valued.
The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000-$320,000 USD. Compensation will be determined by skill level, proficiencies, and experience.
