Job Description

The Senior Marketing Operations Analyst role involves in-depth analysis of marketing data to provide actionable recommendations for optimizing marketing campaigns and improving business performance. Responsibilities include tracking, analyzing, and reporting on various marketing metrics and KPIs, supporting data-driven decisions with insights, collaborating with the Data & Analytics team on reports and dashboards, understanding marketing and sales objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in marketing analytics and reporting projects. The role requires developing SQL queries, creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards, and presenting data insights to both technical and non-technical teams.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing data analysis
  • Hands-on reporting experience with CRMs, Marketing Automation tools, SFDC, Google Analytics, and Tableau
  • Advanced Excel user comfortable with large datasets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business judgment & marketing knowledge
  • Experience in defining requirements and driving cross-functional projects
  • Curious, organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working in a global company with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent English and communication skills
  • Proven experience working with SQL
Good to have:
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake or similar)
  • Experience in the tech industry

In this role you would be able to dive deep into marketing data, analyze it, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns and drive business performance.

In this role, you will:

  • Regular and ad-hoc tracking, analysis, and reporting on different metrics and KPIs related to channel performance, GTM metrics, media & awareness, funnel metrics, ROI, targets vs actuals, and marketing effectiveness
  • Supporting data-driven decisions through providing actionable insights & recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with the Data & Analytics team on the creation of reports and dashboards by writing business requirements & driving adoption
  • Understanding the marketing & sales objectives, the business processes, and the underlying systems
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and other teams to better understand the metrics and present insights
  • Participating and driving projects which support the marketing analytics & reporting strategy
  • Develop, manage, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for business stakeholders including development of needed data sources.
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake or similar) will be considered an advantage

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing marketing data from multiple sources & drawing actionable insights
  • Hands-on reporting experience with CRMs, Marketing Automation tools, SFDC, Google Analytics, Tableau  
  • Advanced Excel user comfortable with large date sets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business judgement & marketing knowledge, enjoying ways to improve the business & readiness to make recommendations
  • Experience in defining requirements and driving cross-functional projects
  • Curious, organized, with strong attention to detail, quick to spot data integrity issues
  • Self-driven & adaptive to change
  • Experience working in a global company and with multiple teams and stakeholders; (tech industry is a plus)
  • Excellent English and communication skills  
  • Proven experience working with SQL (writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and optimization).
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau (creating dashboards, visualizations, and interactive reports).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
