What you’ll do...

  • Proactively drive and prioritize a wide range of visual design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring final media and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Create and maintain a variety of company presentation decks, branding guides, newsletters, social media profile content, logos, email templates, and related materials that embody and enhance the Treyarch company brand.
  • Develop 2D visual designs in a variety of styles, incorporating vector graphics, typography, web design, illustrations, video, and game content.
  • Develop exciting event swag designs, event materials, and seasonal art for print and digital.
  • Create and edit video assets using company footage and motion design techniques.
  • Update and maintain the Treyarch company website with written and visual content.
  • Use generative AI tools to enhance your production capabilities.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively on assigned projects with minimal direction.
  • Confidently self-manage timelines, workloads, and regularly communicate with stakeholders and implement their feedback.
  • The ability to lend support towards our internal game development team may also be called upon in this role.

To succeed you should have...

  • 5+ years working in interactive media, graphic design, and video design, or relevant industry experience.
  • A robust online portfolio showcasing direct contributions with conceptual thinking and meticulous execution, demonstrating an eye for aesthetics and the versatility to create diverse bold visual designs across multiple themes, styles, and media.
  • Exceptional creativity, capable of transforming high-level business needs into compelling designs and generating innovative concepts within project constraints.
  • Advanced skills in digital photo manipulation, image clean-up, and compositing elements together to create new and exciting visuals.
  • An amazing attention to quality, color, visual storytelling, graphic design, typography, layout, and motion.
  • Mastery of Power Point, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and other video editing software.
  • Work samples demonstrating working knowledge of generative AI tools such as Stable Diffusion, Vizcom, Dall-E, or equivalent.
  • An awareness of current Design trends and an ability to match these trends, and push towards establishing new trends.
  • Knowledge of web/social media platforms, associated media requirements, and best practices.
  • A self-motivated work ethic with the ability to independently conceptualize and execute ideas, prioritize workload, and articulate design decisions effectively within stringent deadlines.
  • A passion for collaboration, receptive to feedback, and equipped with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, thriving in an agile and iterative work environment.
  • Be willing to complete a test if requested to do so.

We’d love it if you also have...

  • An understanding and familiarity with Treyarch lore, game history, Call of Duty, and design themes.
  • Experience working within the film or gaming industry, with exposure to tight-deadline production environments.
  • A passion for video games, music, movies, graphic novels, and other elements of pop culture.
  • Conceptual and traditional art skills.
