Job Summary

N-iX seeks a Senior Node.js Engineer to contribute high-quality code to a Political Intelligence platform. Responsibilities include creating technical designs, defining backend approaches, participating in technical discussions, providing/receiving feedback on design documents and pull requests, collaborating with product management, prioritizing backlogs and sprints, and managing CI/CD, quality, and testing processes. Required skills include 4+ years of Node.js development experience, expertise in MariaDB, Elasticsearch, and GraphQL. Knowledge of AWS (Lambda), Typescript, and MSSQL is a plus. Excellent communication skills and upper-intermediate English are essential.

Job Description

N-iX is looking for a talented Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience working as Node.js developer
  • Expertise in working with MariaDB, ElasticSearch, GraphQL
  • Knowledge of AWS (Lambda), Typescript, MSSQL would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Upper-intermediate English level

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute high quality code to Political Intelligence platform
  • Create technical design and define general approach to back-end related part of the platform
  • Participate in technical discussions
  • Give and solicit feedback on technical design documents and pull requests
  • Collaborate with Product Management, help prioritize the backlog and sprint plans
  • Perform tasks related to process such as CI/CD, quality, testing, etc
